A lined notebook made from sustainable cactus leather. This durable, patented alternative to animal leather was created in 2019 by Mexicans Adrián López Velarde and Marte Cázarez under the brand, Desserto. They use cactus leaves to create a plant-based leather that's environmentally friendly and organic. There are no toxic chemicals in the process and it uses less water to make. The result is a soft leather-like fabric made into a series of products including this notebook.
